Sydney Brooks has been professionally grooming dogs and cats for more than 23 years. She is the mother of one daughter as well as three cats, two horses, and her young dog Ruby.

A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Sydney moved to Eugene in the late 1970s. She attended the University of Oregon where she received her Bachelors degree in Geography in 1981. Sydney chose fur over land formations, and has enjoyed working with animals every day since.
